Washington State player arrested for assault on teammate


PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — A Washington State University football player has been arrested after an altercation in the team's locker room.

Freshman defensive lineman Emmitt Su'a-Kalio was arrested Thursday for second degree assault.

KQQQ Radio of Pullman reported that another player contended that Su'a-Kalio sucker punched him in the locker room on Tuesday, breaking his jaw.

Washington State plays at California on Saturday.
