Previewing Tuesday night's MAC TV game
Tuesday night's TV game:
Ohio (5-6) at Miami (Ohio) (2-9)
Time/TV: 7 p.m. ET/ESPN2. Surface: Artificial.
Line: Ohio by 2. Sagarin difference: Ohio by 1.26.
Synopsis: The Bobcats look to climb to the .500 mark and at least be eligible for a postseason invitation, though Ohio would be a long shot well down the list in the Mid-American Conference's pecking order. Still it was a better 2014 campaign than that endured by the RedHawks, who managed only wins against Kent State and a one-point squeaker against UMass. Ohio will look to take charge of this one quickly behind QB Derrius Vick and RB A.J. Ouellette. Despite lacking in victories, Miami WR David Frazier had had a solid senior season, needing 99 receiving yards to reach 1000. QB Andrew Hendrix will try to get him there.
Line furnished by Glantz-Culver.
Jeff Sagarin's power ratings show the relative strength of teams; 3.15 points were added to the home team's rating to calculate the difference.
