Tulsa (2-0) at No. 16 Oklahoma (2-0), noon EST. (Fox Sports 1)

Line: Oklahoma by 31.

Series Record: Oklahoma leads 19-7-1.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Oklahoma needs to build on last Saturday's win at Tennessee. Quarterback Baker Mayfield, even with his big 388-yard game in the opener against Akron and the comeback against Tennessee, needs to find some consistency. The Sooners have had slow starts in both games. Tulsa has a chance to immediately make a statement under first-year coach Philip Montgomery.

KEY MATCHUP

Oklahoma's running backs vs. Tulsa's run defense. Oklahoma's talented duo of Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon, have yet to truly break out. Offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley said the Sooners are close. The big gains could come against Tulsa, which is allowing 262 yards rushing per game, one of the worst totals in college football.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Tulsa: QB Dane Evans. Evans ranks fourth in the Football Bowl Subdivision with 372.5 yards per game and leads the nation with 20.1 yards per completion after wins over Florida Atlantic and New Mexico. He will face a new level of pressure against Oklahoma.

Oklahoma: WR Sterling Shepard. In 2013 against Tulsa, he caught eight passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns. Last year against the Golden Hurricane, he caught eight passes for 177 yards and a touchdown.
