Louisiana-Monroe fires head coach Todd Berry
Louisiana-Monroe has fired football coach Todd Berry, athletics director Brian Wickstrom told Paste BN Sports.
The Warhawks sunk to 1-9 on Saturday following a 59-21 home loss to Arkansas State. Berry had one winning season at the school in 2012, finishing 8-5 with a loss in the Independence Bowl.
He ends his tenure with a 28-43 overall record over six seasons. He was fired from his previous FBS head coaching job at Army after going 5-35.
Defensive line coach John Mumford will be the interim coach for the rest of the season.
