Ohio State has staked out a perfect tailgate spot for its game at the University of Oklahoma: The Sooners' own basketball arena.
The Buckeyes' alumni association has rented out the Lloyd Noble Center on the OU campus for a "Buckeye Bash" pep rally. The event is sold out.
No. 4 OSU visits 14th-ranked Oklahoma in the first of a home-and-home series. The teams meet in Week 2 of the 2017 season at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.
The event will host the Ohio State band, cheerleaders and promises Oklahoma-style barbecue for Buckeye fans on the arena's 15,575-square-foot floor.
