Big Ten dominates top of NCAA 1-128 Re-rank

The Big Ten Conference has flexed its muscles in this week’s Paste BN Sports 1-128 Re-rank of the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Despite having a idle week, Ohio State retained the No. 1 spot it grabbed after a convincing win at Oklahoma on Sept. 17. Michigan and Wisconsin are close behind, giving the conference three teams among the top six.

The Badgers made a nice leap after demolishing Michigan State, 30-6, on Saturday. The Wolverines cruised past Penn State without breaking a sweat, again looking very much a national championship contender.

In all, the top four remained static: Ohio State first, followed by Alabama, Louisville and Clemson. The Cardinals and Tigers meet this weekend.

New to the top 25: Utah, Baylor, Mississippi, Arizona State and Memphis.

Out of the top 25: Florida, Oklahoma State, South Florida, Georgia and LSU.
