Texas RB Chris Warren out with knee injury

Texas running back Chris Warren won't return in the second half for the Longhorns against Oklahoma State.

Warren is out with a right knee injury.

Warren has been the Longhorns' leading rusher, piling up 106 yards on 10 carries. D'onta Foreman is expected to carry the load in the second half.

No. 25 Texas trailed Oklahoma State 35-27 at the half.

Also Saturday:

►Boston College receiver Chris Garrison was taken off the field on a stretcher in the first quarter of Saturday’s game against Buffalo with a fractured left tibia. Garrison, a redshirt freshman, went up high to catch a 44-yard pass from quarterback Patrick Towles at the Bulls’ 11-yard line when he came down awkwardly on his left leg with 2:09 to play.

►Baylor wide receiver KD Cannon will miss Saturday’s game at Iowa State with a groin injury. Bears spokesman Sean Doerre tells The Associated Press that Cannon didn’t make the trip to Ames because of the injury. It’s the first time that Cannon, a junior, has missed a game for Baylor. Cannon has caught 27 passes for 370 yards with four TDs this season for the 13th-ranked Bears, who entered Saturday atop the Big 12 at 4-0 and 1-0 in the league.
