NCAA 1-128 Re-rank has a shakeup in the top five
Friday night’s 44-6 win against Stanford moves Washington into the top five of this week’s Paste BN Sports 1-128 Re-rank of the Football Bowl Subdivision.
There were two other shakeups inside the top five. Louisville falls from No. 3 to No. 7 after losing to Clemson, which moves into third behind Ohio State and Alabama. Michigan replaces the Cardinal after a throwback win against Wisconsin.
The biggest mover in this week’s re-rank is North Carolina, which rocketed up to No. 11 after a last-second win at Florida State. The Tar Heels join Clemson and Louisville to give the ACC three teams inside the re-rank’s top 11.
New to the top 25: North Carolina, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Oklahoma and Florida.
Out of the top 25: TCU, Memphis, Michigan State, Utah and Arizona State.
