Ohio State, Michigan stay put in NCAA 1-128 Re-Rank ahead of massive showdown
With no changes at the top in this week’s Paste BN Sports 1-128 college football re-rank, the table is set for a season-defining, Playoff-deciding matchup between Ohio State and Michigan.
The Buckeyes remain at No. 2 in this week’s re-rank after a close call with Michigan State. The Wolverines stick at No. 4 after struggling to put away Indiana.
The winner will put a strong hold on second place heading into the first weekend of December, and move one step closer to securing a spot in the College Football Playoff.
But everyone, even the Buckeyes and Wolverines, is chasing unbeaten and No. 1 Alabama, one of just two perfect teams left in the Football Bowl Subdivision. The other, No. 8 Western Michigan, must win out to earn a place in a New Year’s Six bowl.
