Murray State lineman gets married on field after practice; assistant coach officiates

As far as wedding venues go, Bishop Woods and his wife, Caitlin Myers, picked a location that is certainly memorable.
They'll be able to tell their kids the story of a spontaneous marriage on a football field, with Woods — a Murray State defensive lineman — still wearing his football gear as the couple said their vows in front of Woods' teammates after practice on Tuesday.

When Woods learned that the Racers' offensive line coach, Brian Hamilton, was an ordained minister, the spontaneous ceremony — at the 50-yard line of Roy Stewart Stadium, no less — came to life.
"We kind of made it up on the fly," Woods told ESPN. "Coach Ham is one of my favorite coaches. He's been teaching me a lot of about fatherhood and other things."
Woods and Myers had been together for more than three years and welcomed a son four months ago.
