Heisman Trophy candidate Bryce Love out for Stanford against Oregon State

Stanford running back Bryce Love, a Heisman Trophy candidate, will not play in Thursday night's game against Oregon State, Cardinal coach David Shaw said minutes before kickoff.
Love, who leads the nation averaging nearly 200 yards rushing per game, hurt his ankle in the Oct. 14 game against Oregon.
The running back has notched 1,387 total yards and is averaging just over 10 yards a carry through seven games. Both of those numbers also lead the nation.
