Heisman Watch: Stanford's Bryce Love moves into second behind Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield

Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield followed up his big day in the Bedlam shootout by torching TCU’s more accomplished defense. Now with just three weeks remaining in the college football regular season, the Heisman Trophy race appears all but over.
Mayfield remains the unanimous first choice in the Paste BN Network survey of 20 official Heisman electors who work for Gannett properties. He now has 3,559 passing yards for the season with 31 touchdowns and just five interceptions, and the Sooners have the most productive offense in the country averaging an almost unfathomable 600.7 yards a game.
Stanford running back Bryce Love moved back into second place this week. He received a majority of second-place mentions after he led the Cardinal to an upset of Washington with 166 rushing yards and three scores.
