Ohio State's Drue Chrisman shanks punt for just four yards

Death, taxes and college football kicking blunders.
Looking to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive, the No. 7 Ohio State Buckeyes need a big win against Michigan State in East Lansing.
They won't get it with mistakes like this.
On their opening drive, the Buckeyes were forced to punt after a dismal three-and-out. Sophomore Drue Chrisman, a 2017 Ray Guy Award semifinalist and third team All-Big Ten honoree, hit the shank of his career.
Chrisman's punt, for lack of a better word, traveled just four yards, ending up among the fans in the stands a good ten rows deep. Michigan State re-gained possession almost in field goal range at the Ohio State 35-yard line.
Michigan State kicker Matt Coghlin then went on to miss a 51-yard field goal attempt wide-right. Ohio State kicker Blake Haubeil followed suit a few possessions later, missing from 44 yards. Coghlin then connected on a 44-yard attempt of his own with 30 seconds left in the half.
The second half featured little offense and became a game of field position. Chrisman rebounded after his first shank in epic fashion, pinning the Spartans inside their own 10-yard line six different times, with three inside the 5-yard line.
