A pair of Big Ten teams looking to turn their seasons around in USC football and Nebraska will square off Saturday in Los Angeles.
The Trojans (4-5, 2-5 Big Ten) have lost five of their last seven games after a 2-0 start, while the Cornhuskers (5-4, 2-4) have lost three consecutive games. Both teams have made tweaks in the offense, with Lincoln Riley announcing Jayden Maiava as the starter over Miller Moss and the Cornhuskers naming the recently added Dana Holgorsen the offensive coordinator for the rest of the season.
Both USC and Nebraska were on byes last week. Last time out, USC lost 26-21 to Washington, and Nebraska lost 27-20 to UCLA at home on Nov. 2. The Trojans lead the all-time series 4-0-1. In the teams' last meeting, USC beat Nebraska 45-42 on Dec. 27, 2014, in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego.
