College Football Playoff odds, favorites to make 12-team CFP field after Week 12

On Saturday, Georgia football sent a message to the 12-team College Football Playoff committee.
The No. 10 Bulldogs were the first team out of last Tuesday's CFP rankings. Still, they left no doubt Kirby Smart and his Georgia program belong in the 12-team field with a 31-17 win over No. 4 Tennessee on Saturday from Samford Stadium in Athens, Georgia.
BYU lost its firm grip on the Big 12 and a potential automatic bid with a loss to Kansas late Saturday evening. At the same time, No. 1 Oregon hung on for dear life for a victory over Wisconsin to remain unbeaten. No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Texas and No. 5 Penn State cruised to easy victories to stay in prime position for a berth.
Despite losing to undefeated Oregon, the Buckeyes have the best odds of winning the national championship in 2024. Oregon remains second, while SEC foes Georgia and Texas are tied for the third-best odds.
