On Friday, the Las Vegas Bowl will pit USC football against Texas A&M at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. The Trojans and Aggies last met on the gridiron on Dec. 31, 1977, in the Bluebonnet Bowl at the Astrodome in Houston. USC defeated Texas A&M 47-28 in the third meeting between the programs. The Trojans are 3-0 all-time vs. the Aggies.
The last time USC played, it fell 49-35 to Notre Dame to end Lincoln Riley's third regular season at 6-6. USC's last losing season was a 4-8 record in 2021 — the year before Riley took over the Trojans program.

Meanwhile, the Aggies ended the season with a 17-7 loss to in-state rival Texas, denying them a chance to play in the SEC championship game. Texas A&M enters on a two-game losing streak and losers of three of its last four games after starting the season 7-1.
