Davis Warren injury updates: Michigan QB helped off vs Alabama after sack on sideline

A Michigan offense that had already looked anemic for much of its game against Alabama potentially suffered another setback in the third quarter, when quarterback Davis Warren was helped off the field following a sack on the Alabama sideline.
Warren rolled right and was dragged down hard toward the Crimson Tide sideline. He stayed on the grass and was helped by medical personnel before being assisted to Michigan's sideline. Shortly after, Warren limped to the Michigan locker room after attempting to run.
The ESPN broadcast later reported Warren is out for the rest of the game, as he was shown on the sideline in street clothes with crutches supporting his right knee, which had an ice wrap around it.
Alex Orji, who is in the transfer portal, came on for Michigan, leaving freshman Jadyn Davis on the sideline. Davis, a four-star recruit out of North Carolina, was the ninth QB in the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite.
Warren, if his day is done, finishes at 9 of 12 passing for 73 yards and a touchdown.

Warren suffered a right knee injury, according to the ESPN broadcast. He was sporting crutches and in street clothes during the fourth quarter, as he was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
