Listen: The call of Mitch Jeter's field goal that sent Notre Dame to College Football Playoff title game

Notre Dame is off to the College Football Playoff national championship game.
The seventh-seeded Fighting Irish (14-1) punched their ticket to the national championship game with a 41-yard field goal from kicker Mitch Jeter to defeat No. 6 Penn State 27-24 in the Orange Bowl semifinal on Thursday.
It is the first championship appearance for Notre Dame in the CFP era, which started in 2014.
The heroics from Jeter, who transferred to Notre Dame from South Carolina over the offseason, were set up on an untimely interception from Penn State quarterback Drew Allar with 37 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
Here's what Jeter's game-winning 41-yard field goal from Sean McDonough sounded like on ESPN:

Notre Dame had to play without starting quarterback Riley Leonard for a series in the winding seconds of the first half, as Leonard was sent into the medical tent to be evaluated for a concussion. However, backup Steve Angeli led the Fighting Irish to within field goal range, where Jeter kicked his first 41-yard field goal to get the Irish on the board as time expired in the first half.
With the win, Irish coach Marcus Freeman will become the first Black coach to coach for a college football national championship. Freeman will look to lead Notre Dame to its ninth national championship in the AP poll era, which started in 1936.
Notre Dame will now watch Friday's Cotton Bowl semifinal between No. 5 Texas and No. 8 Ohio State to learn who it will play in the CFP national championship game on Monday, Jan. 20 in Atlanta.
