By the end of the night, college football will have a new national champion be crowned.

But before No. 8 Ohio State and No. 7 Notre Dame can battle each other for that, Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Coco Jones took the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium to perform the national anthem for the College Football Playoff championship game.

The 27-year-old singer delivered a moving rendition of the national anthem, even bringing some roars out among those inside the stadium as fireworks went off.

Ohio State is looking for its second CFP championship title in program history and first since the inaugural CFP in 2014, while Notre Dame is looking for its first national championship in over three decades.

Jones' rendition of the national anthem received a rather positive reaction across social media.
