What channel is Big 12 football media days? Time, TV for conference kickoff today
The first college football game of the 2025 season is still nearly two months away, but this week, fans across the country will get a not-so-satisfying alternative: people talking about playing football.
The circuit of conference media days that signal the impending start of the college football season begins this week at the major-conference level with the Big 12, which will hold its annual media days on July 8 and July 9 in Frisco, Texas.
There is no shortage of questions surrounding what might be the most wide-open conference in the sport.
How will reigning Big 12 champion Arizona State follow up its magical 2024 season, especially with bowling-ball running back Cam Skattebo now in the NFL? Will Utah and Oklahoma State be able to bounce back after uncharacteristically poor 2024 seasons? How will Rich Rodriguez and Scott Frost fare in their returns to West Virginia and Central Florida, respectively? What will Colorado look like under Deion Sanders with Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders ready to begin their NFL careers?
Those questions won’t begin to be answered until actual games kick off, but this week will provide the first chance for coaches and players from the league’s 16 teams to address the upcoming season.
Here’s what you need to know to follow along with Big 12 media days, including the TV channel, dates and start times:
