It's safe to say the lone Taco Bell in Ames, Iowa, was unprepared for Iowa State's stunning 14-7 upset of then-No. 4 TCU on Saturday — and the ambush of hungry fans that followed.

The restaurant ran out of most of its food when fans flooded in for a celebratory late meal after the game.

Taco Bell employee Josh Michael told Diehards.com the restaurant "nearly ran out of everything," which included queso, lettuce, beans, Baja tacos, Doritos Locos Tacos and Mountain Dew. A store manager declined comment when contacted by Paste BN Sports on Tuesday morning.

Saturday's victory catapulted Iowa State (6-2, 4-1) to No. 16 in this week's coaches poll and created a four-way tie with TCU, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State for first place in the Big 12.
