Wilton Speight starts at QB for Michigan
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Wilton Speight started at quarterback for Michigan in the Wolverines’ biggest game of the season against No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday, two weeks after getting injured against Iowa.
Speight missed Michigan’s 20-10 win over Indiana a week ago; John O’Korn started in his absence.
Speight dressed in full pads on Saturday and took the first snaps with the first team in the 7-on-7 drills. He also took reps during practice this past week, according to Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh.
Harbaugh never elaborated on the specifics of Speight’s injury, reportedly a broken collarbone, or the seriousness of it.
