Penn State wide receiver KJ Hamler declares for 2020 NFL draft

Penn State defeated Memphis in the Cotton Bowl 53-39 on Saturday. That was the final game for Penn State wide receiver KJ Hamler.  

On Tuesday, Hamler announced via Twitter that he will forgo his final two seasons of eligibility at Penn State and enter the 2020 NFL draft.

Hamler finishes his career having caught 98 passes for 1,658 yards and 13 touchdowns over two seasons after redshirting in 2017.

The electrifying receiver led Penn State in receiving yards in 2018 and 2019 and led the team in touchdown catches in 2019.

The 5-foot-9, 175-pound Hamler was projected as a first-round pick in Paste BN Sports' first mock draft

During his time at Penn State, Hamler provided a plethora of big plays on the receiving end and on special teams.
