Texas vs. Arizona State: Peach Bowl betting odds, how to watch CFP quarterfinal
Arizona State will make its debut in the College Football Playoff when the Sun Devils travel to play the Texas Longhorns in the Peach Bowl.
The Sun Devils haven't played since beating Iowa State 45-19 in the Big 12 championship game on Dec. 7. ASU earned a first-round bye for being one of the four highest-ranked conference champions.
Running back Cam Skattebo was a dominant force for the Sun Devils this season, with 263 carries for 1,568 yards and 19 touchdowns. His ability to contribute as a receiver may also prove to be crucial to ASU’s offensive attack. Skattebo also had 37 receptions for 506 yards for three touchdowns.
The Longhorns are coming off a 38-24 victory over Clemson in the first round of the playoff. If the Longhorns can defeat ASU, they will return to the CFP semifinal game for a second consecutive season. Quinn Ewers returned for another season as the starting quarterback, completing 250 of 376 pass attempts for 2,867 yards, 26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
