Oregon lands Clemson grad transfer DT Scott Pagano

Oregon's defense — which ranked near the bottom in college football last year — got a boost Friday.

Clemson defensive tackle Scott Pagano, a graduate transfer, announced on Instagram that he would be joining Willie Taggart and the Ducks next season.

The 6-3, 295 pounder had 20 tackles, including 4.5 for loss with two sacks last year for the national champs.

Pagano will join new defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt on a unit that ranked 126th in total defense last season.
