UCLA coach Jim Mora has 'firm belief' Josh Rosen won't leave after season for NFL

UCLA coach Jim Mora said he doesn't think quarterback Josh Rosen, a 2017 Heisman candidate, will leave for the NFL draft after next season — despite the fact that Rosen is a projected No. 1 pick for 2018.
"My firm belief is that he will not leave," Mora told Yahoo Sports. "I don't think he'll leave. ...I want a disclaimer, I have an option to change my opinion. But as we sit here right now, I can really honestly say I don't think he's going to leave."
Rosen drew national headlines recently for saying college football and school "don't go together" and compared it to the equivalent of "two full-time jobs."
The signal caller was the first Bruins quarterback to start as a true freshman. Now a junior, Rosen said that balancing the demands as a student-athlete has led to the realization that "human beings don't belong in school with our schedules."
“There are guys who have no business being in school, but they’re here because this is the path to the NFL,” Rosen told Bleacher Report. “There’s no other way. Then there’s the other side that says raise the SAT eligibility requirements. OK, raise the SAT requirement at Alabama and see what kind of team they have. You lose athletes, and then the product on the field suffers.”
