Georgia linebacker Natrez Patrick arrested for marijuana possession

Georgia linebacker Natrez Patrick was arrested on Thursday night for marijuana possession, according to Athens-Clarke County Jail (Ga.) records.
Patrick, who did not travel with the team to Nashville for Saturday's game against Vanderbilt, was charged with a misdemeanor for possessing less than one ounce of marijuana. He was released on $1,500 bond Friday morning.
Phone messages made by Paste BN Sports to Georgia Athletics on Friday morning were not immediately returned.
Patrick has had previous run-ins with the law; he was suspended one game in 2015 after being arrested for misdemeanor marijuana charges.
Patrick, a defensive starter, has been a key force for the sixth-ranked Bulldogs defense, leading the team with 17 tackles this season.
