One of the top high school running backs in next year's graduating class has announced he's committing to the University of Alabama.
Emmanuel Henderson, a junior at Geneva County High School in Hartford, Alabama, is the No. 1 running back on the ESPN 300 rankings for 2022 and is ranked No. 2 in the class by 247 Sports.
The 6-1, 190-pound Henderson rushed for over 2,000 yards and scored 46 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2019. Then, despite a knee injury that kept him out of three games, rushed for 1,447 yards and 20 touchdowns this past season.
He chose the reigning national champion Crimson Tide over a host of other suitors, including Auburn, Georgia and Clemson.
