South Carolina still No. 1, Stanford now No. 2 in Paste BN Sports women's basketball poll

South Carolina strengthened its grip on the No. 1 ranking in the Paste BN Sports women’s basketball coaches poll.

The Gamecocks retain the top spot they’ve held all season, claiming all but one of 32 first-place votes this week. The remaining first-place nod goes to Stanford, which is back up to No. 2 overall.

North Carolina State climbs to No. 3 following a big week that included a win against then-No. 2 Louisville. The Cardinals slip two slots to No. 4. Tennessee edges ahead of Indiana by six poll points to round out the top five.

No. 7 Michigan and No. 8 Arizona each move up a notch, and No. 9 Connecticut returns to the top 10. No. 10 Texas moves up four positions while handing Iowa State one of its two losses during the week, knocking the Cyclones down six places to No. 13.

No. 24 Iowa and No. 25 Oregon return to the poll, replacing Kentucky and Colorado.
