South Carolina keeps hold of No. 1 spot in Paste BN Sports women's basketball poll

South Carolina continues to top the Paste BN Sports women’s basketball coaches poll heading into February, with the top four teams unchanged.

The Gamecocks once again received 31 of 32 first-place votes, with the remaining nod again going to No. 2 Stanford. No. 3 North Carolina State and No. 4 Louisville also hold steady.

The rest of the top 10 got shuffled with some surprising results. Michigan edges into the No. 5 spot after taking down Indiana Monday night, while the Hoosiers stay put at No. 6. Tennessee slips a couple of places to No. 7 after a loss to unranked Auburn. Arizona and Connecticut retain the next two slots, and Iowa State bounces back up three places to grab the No. 10 position.

The lone newcomer to the poll this week is No. 25 Mississippi, narrowly edging out South Florida by three points. Duke falls out.
