No. 4 LSU knocked off No. 17 Tennessee in a Sunday afternoon showdown that was even more intriguing with the Vols coming off an upset win over No. 5 UConn. When LSU and Tennessee met last month in Knoxville, the Lady Tigers got a wild, last-second layup by guard Kailyn Gilbert to score a dramatic 89-87 win.

This time, the game was just as exciting and the Tigers scored another win, 82-77.

Led by the talented trio of Flau'Jae Johnson, Aneesah Morrow and Mikaylah Johnson, LSU (25-1, 10-1 SEC) has only lost to No. 2 South Carolina this season.

If you missed the action from this Super Bowl appetizer on Sunday, check out highlights below.

Final score: LSU 82, Tennessee 77

Aneesah Morrow was huge for LSU in the final quarter, finishing the game with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Kailyn Gilbert led LSU with 23 points. And Mikayla Williams racked up 16 points and seven assists.

Tennessee played a tough game, led by Ruby Whitehorn's 21 points.

Mikayla Williams hits huge 3 in 4th quarter

Tennessee and LSU continued a back-and-forth game, trading the lead early in the fourth quarter. Tennessee led 66-65 before LSU created some separation. After an LSU free throw tied the game, Aneesah Morrow made a jump shot to retake the lead, 68-66. Then, Mikayla Williams, making up for her late 3 the previous quarter, hit a 3-point jump shot from 24 feet out to give LSU a 71-66 advantage.

3Q score: LSU 62, Tennessee 57

LSU's Mikaylah Williams knocked down a huge 3-pointer at the buzzer that would have made the score 65-57, but she did not get it off in time and Tennessee remains within striking distance.

Halftime score: LSU 41, Tennessee 37

The game remains tight. Jewel Spear had a standout second quarter for Tennessee and leads the Vols with 15 points. Aneesah Morrow has 7 points, 6 rebounds for the Tigers. And Williams entered the half with 9 points, 5 assists.

1Q score: LSU 22, Tennessee 20

Mikaylah Williams leads the Tigers early with 7 points, 4 assists. Zee Spearman has 9 points and a block for the Vols.
