Women's college basketball national title odds: South Carolina favored to repeat

Women's college basketball fans are in for a treat this week.
Four of the top teams in the nation face off this week, starting with No. 1 UCLA taking on in-state rival and No. 6 USC at 10 p.m. ET on Thursday. The Trojans are led by one of the best players in the sport, sophomore JuJu Watson, while the Bruins have enjoyed success behind Lauren Betts.
On Sunday, another rivalry is reignited as No. 7 UConn takes on No. 4 South Carolina. The Gamecocks are the defending champs, led by head coach Dawn Staley, while the Huskies and coach Geno Auriemma are always in the mix for a national championship run.
South Carolina, UCLA and UConn are among the three teams with the best title odds this season, while USC is not far behind, at fifth. Here's a look at the women's college basketball national championship odds for the 2024-25 season:
Women's college basketball national championship odds
Despite a loss to No. 4 Texas last week, the Gamecocks remain the favorites to win the national championship. If South Carolina were to repeat, it would be the first program since UConn to win in consecutive years since the Huskies had a four-peat from 2013-2016 — before Staley led the Gamecocks to the national championship in 2017.
The Bruins have never won a national championship, while the Trojans are seeking their first title since 1984, which came on the heels of back-to-back championship runs.
