WBIT 2025 schedule, bracket: Game times, TV, streaming for women's tournament

The NCAA Tournament field is set, but that's not the only postseason tournament happening in women's hoops.

The field for the 2025 Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament − Or WBIT − is set as 32-teams will try to end the season on a high note with a postseason title. Now in it's second year, the WBIT is the main alternate postseason option for teams that didn't make March Madness. The WNIT also exists, but its not on the same level as it is on the men's side since the NCAA runs the WBIT and not the WNIT.

There are automatic bids into the WBIT as the first four teams out of the NCAA Tournament will make up the top four seeds in the field, and any conference regular season champion that got left out of the big dance will also be in it. Here's what to know for the 2025 WBIT:

When is 2025 WBIT?

The first round of the 2025 NIT will begin on March 16 and will run until the championship game on April 2 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The first round, second round and quarterfinals will be played at campus sites. The semifinal and final will be played at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

  • WBIT first round: Thursday, March 20
  • WBIT second round:  Sunday, March 23
  • WBIT quarterfinals: Thursday, March 27
  • WBIT semifinals: Monday, March 31 (2:30 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. ET)
  • WBIT championship game: Wednesday, April 2 (9 p.m. ET)
