Women's March Madness games today: Game times, predictions, how to watch

On Wednesday night, Iowa State, Princeton, UC San Diego and Southern got things rolling in the the 2025 NCAA women's basketball tournament with a pair of First Four games.

Tonight, that madness continues.

The First Four of the 2025 NCAA women's basketball tournament will conclude Thursday night with a pair of play-in games, with the winners advancing to the main 64-team bracket.

In the first matchup, No. 11 seeds Columbia and Washington will square off for the right to play Saturday against No. 6 seed Michigan. That game will be followed by a battle of No. 16 seeds later in the evening, when High Point meets up with William & Mary. The victorious side in that game will move on to face No. 1 overall seed UCLA on Saturday.

Prediction: Columbia 69, Washington 68

The Lions were the dominant team in a strong Ivy League for much of the season, with a 13-1 mark in league play before falling to Harvard in the conference tournament title game. They'll rediscover their form in the win-or-go-home crucible of the NCAA Tournament and eke out a win against Washington to earn a date Saturday with West Virginia.

Prediction: High Point 64, William & Mary 56

The Panthers have been on a roll the past two months, with wins in 13 of their past 14 games since Jan. 18. The Tribe, meanwhile, were reeling late in the season, losing seven of eight before an inspired run to win the Coastal Athletic Association Tournament and make the NCAA Tournament with a 15-18 record.

Columbia and Washington will tip off the action from the 11-seed line at 7 p.m. ET from Carmichael Arena in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The winner will advance to play No. 6 seed West Virginia.

The second game of the night features 16 seeds High Point and William & Mary, champions of the Big South and Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), respectively. They will face off at 9 p.m. ET from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, with the winner advancing to face 1 seed Texas.

Columbia-Washington will air on ESPN2, while High Point-William & Mary will air on ESPNU. Both games can be streamed via March Madness Live or the ESPN app, with a valid cable login. Another option is Fubo, which offers a free trial and carries the ESPN family of networks.
