Rapper Plies tells South Carolina to get off TikTok after narrow women's March Madness win

No. 1 South Carolina's narrow 71-67 victory over No. 4 Maryland in the NCAA women's tournament drew some strong words from one the team's biggest fans.
Rapper and close confidant of head coach Dawn Staley took to Twitter to voice his dismay at the Gamecocks' performance.
"I better not see another (expletive) Tik Tok video the rest of this weekend!!!!" Plies wrote on X in all capital letters. "We need to be in the gym getting up shots!!!"
Commentors seem to agree with the 48-year old, with some saying, "Unc has spoken" and "I love that they are relaxed, but the time for dancing and videos are over. FOCUS!!!".
The TikTokers in question could be sophomore Tessa Johnson and junior Chloe Kitts. The duo has been posting on TikTok throughout the tournament.
However, they came to play in the victory over Maryland, with Kitts leading the charge with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Johnson poured in 7 points and 5 rebounds. Sophomore MiLaysia Fulwiley led the team with 23 points.
South Carolina faces No. 2 Duke in the Elite Eight with the time TBD.
