Sports Seriously
The first game of Monday's women's NCAA Tournament doubleheader features the top-seeded Texas Longhorns taking on their in-state rivals, the No. 2-seeded TCU Horned Frogs.
Led by SEC Player of the Year Madison Booker, the Longhorns outlasted No. 5 Tennessee 67-59 to advance to the regional final for the fourth time in five years. Booker has scored in double figures in 30 of Texas's 37 games this season.
On the other side, transfer guard Hailey Van Lith gives the Horned Frogs their spark. The Big 12 player of the year set a school record for points scored during the regular season and tallied 26 points, nine rebounds and four assists in TCU's 71-62 win over Notre Dame.
