Editor’s note: Follow UConn vs. South Carolina live updates from the women’s NCAA championship game.

The road to the national championship game of the 2025 women's NCAA Tournament ends in Tampa Bay.

On Friday, four teams competed in the Final Four for a spot in the final women's college basketball game of the season on Sunday, April 6 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

Those four teams? Three No. 1 seeds in South Carolina, Texas and UCLA, and one of the sport's biggest brands in UConn.

Dawn Staley's Gamecocks, who are led by star freshman Joyce Edwards and Te-Hina Paopao, were the first team to punch their ticket to the national championship game with a decisive 74-57 win over the Longhorns. South Carolina, making its third national championship appearance in the last four years, will now look to defend its crown and become the first team since UConn to win back-to-back national championships.

Joining South Carolina in the national championship game will be UConn, which dominated Lauren Betts and No. 1 overall seed UCLA, 85-51, in the Final Four. Paige Bueckers and the Huskies are now looking for the program's 12th championship under legendary coach Geno Auriemma.

Here's the full list of teams to make the national championship of the 2025 women's NCAA Tournament, which will be updated as Final Four games conclude:
