Week 9 injuries: Ryan Tannehill, Brian Hartline active for Dolphins
NFL injury updates heading into Sunday's Week 9 action:
— The Dolphins will field their top passing combo as rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill (thigh/knee) and receiver Brian Hartline (groin) are both active today at Indianapolis in a game that could impact the AFC playoff picture. Tailback Donald Brown is available for the Colts even though he seemed to have a setback with his knee this week. Rookie Vick Ballard will start at running back for Indy. The Colts don't have Coby Fleener or Vontae Davis today.
— After a week off, Packers wideout Jordy Nelson (hamstring) is active today.
— Receiver Mohamed Massaquoi (hamstring) and defensive tackle (offseason pectoral injury) are both back for the Browns today, though Massaquoi has not displaced Josh Gordon as a starter.
— Panthers receiver Louis Murphy will start in place of injured Brandon LaFell (concussion) today against a Redskins defense that ranks last against the pass. Aldrick Robinson is starting ahead of Leonard Hankerson at wideout for Washington.
— Though his knee kept him out of practice this week, Calvin Johnson will start today for the Lions. Detroit will be without three defensive starters in Jacksonville: Linebacker DeAndre Levy and safeties Amari Spievey and Louis Delmas.
