2013 NFL Draft compensatory picks: Falcons, Ravens get most selections
The Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans each received a third-round compensatory pick in April's NFL Draft as a result of the formula for measuring which teams lost "more or better" free agents than they added last year.
The Atlanta Falcons (a fourth-round pick and three seventh-rounders and Baltimore Ravens (fourth-, fifth-, sixth- and seventh-round picks) each received four picks.
The Falcons lost cornerback Kelvin Hayden, linebacker Curtis Lofton, defensive back James Sanders and wide receiver Eric Weems in free agency last year. The Ravens lost guard Ben Grubbs, linebacker Jarret Johnson, defensive linemen Brandon McKinney and Cory Redding and safeties Haruki Nakamura and Tom Zbikowski.
The San Francisco 49ers received three more draft picks (a fourth-rounder and two seventh-rounders), giving them 14 in the draft.The Titans (third-, sixth- and seventh-round picks) also received three picks.
The Indianapolis Colts hold the final pick in the draft, No. 254 overall, which means they'll be selecting Mr. Irrelevant 2013.
