Jaguars' Sen'Derrick Marks signs four-year contract worth $22 million

Defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks signed a four-year, $22 million contract extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday that includes $8 million guaranteed, a person with knowledge of the deal told Paste BN Sports.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal hadn't been announced.

Marks, 26, played his first four seasons with the Tennessee Titans before taking a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Jaguars in April, then parlayed that into a lucrative extension.

A second-round draft pick out of Auburn in 2009, Marks has started all 15 games for the Jaguars this season, recording career highs in sacks (four), passes defended (eight) and forced fumbles (two).
