Tuesday injuries: Tyrod Taylor's status uncertain
The Buffalo Bills offense might be in for big changes.
With running back LeSean McCoy and wide receiver Sammy Watkins sidelined in recent weeks, coach Rex Ryan might have to figure out how to get along without quarterback Tyrod Taylor. An MCL sprain could sideline the signal-caller for multiple games, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported.
The Bills also signed QB Josh Johnson on Tuesday. On Monday, Ryan said on Monday that Taylor was "pretty banged up."
- Atlanta WR Julio Jones (hamstring, toe) missed practice Monday and, according to ESPN, the Falcons are "uncertain" if he can play Thursday night vs. New Orleans. Coach Dan Quinn said Tuesday he expects Jones to play.
- Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly has been released from concussion protocol and can practice this week, according to several reports He has not practiced or played in a game since suffering a concussion in the season opener against Jacksonville.
- Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said RB Marshawn Lynch (hamstring) is on track to return to practice on Thursday. Lynch missed the past two games with hamstring issues.
