Week 11 injuries: Falcons' Devonta Freeman suffers concussion
The Atlanta Falcons' slumping offense was dealt a blow early in Week 11.
Running back Devonta Freeman suffered a concussion in the first quarter and was ruled out for the remainder of the game against the Indianapolis Colts, the team announced.
Freeman entered the game ranked second in the NFL in yards from scrimmage, trailing only Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.
In other injury news on Sunday:
- Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco suffered a torn ACL at the end of the game against the St. Louis Rams.
- Ravens RB Justin Forsett suffered a broken right arm and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
- Washington Redskins RB Alfred Morris sustained a rib injury against the Carolina Panthers. LT Trent Williams suffered a knee injury that coach Jay Gruden later described as a kneecap contusion.
- New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis suffered a concussion against the Houston Texans.
- Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz left the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after suffering a concussion.
- Rams QB Case Keenum suffered a concussion late against the Ravens.
- Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch was inactive for the game against the San Francisco 49ers with an abdomen injury.
