Week 12 NFL injuries: Jets' Darrelle Revis, Falcons' Devonta Freeman out
Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman's concussion will keep him off the field for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. Freeman, who is tied for the NFL lead with 11 touchdowns, was injured in Week 11.
The Falcons also ruled out WR Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) and K Matt Bryant (quad), significant absences for a team that's lost four of five after a 5-0 start to the season.
Several prominent Vikings defensive players are questionable: DE Everson Griffen (hip, shoulder), S Harrison Smith (knee) and CB Trae Waynes (ankle).
In other injury news Friday:
— New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis (concussion) will not play against the Miami Dolphins, though C Nick Mangold is probably despite the hand laceration he suffered last Sunday. Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry did not practice Friday and is questionable with a knee injury. Several other Dolphins were also questionable, including LBs Kelvin Sheppard (hamstring), Koa Misi (abdomen), Jelani Jenkins (ankle) and Spencer Paysinger (neck). RT Ja'Wuan James' toe injury will cost him another game.
— With Case Keenum (questionable) still recovering from a concussion, QB Nick Foles will likely return to the starting lineup for the St. Louis Rams against the Cincinnati Bengals.
— New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola is questionable after suffering a knee injury Monday night. LB Jamie Collins (illness) is doubtful, while the Denver Broncos remain without OLB DeMarcus Ware (back).
— The New York Giants will play the Washington Redskins without TE Larry Donnell (neck) and G Justin Pugh (concussion) and likely won't have C Weston Richburg (ankle), either.
— Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (shoulder) is probable. However DT Kyle Williams needs knee surgery and won't play again this year. Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (groin, ankle) and RB Charcandrick West (hamstring) are questionable.
— The Arizona Cardinals may have to play without the services of WR Michael Floyd (hamstring) and CB Patrick Peterson (ankle), who are both questionable. A foot injury will again keep San Francisco 49ers RB Carlos Hyde in street clothes.
— Oakland Raiders C Rodney Hudson (ankle) is doubtful. Tennessee Titans LB Derrick Morgan (shoulder) is questionable.
— The San Diego Chargers O-line is again depleted with G D.J. Fluker (concussion) out and LT T King Dunlap (ankle) doubtful.
— Philadelphia Eagles CB Nolan Carroll was placed on injured reserve after breaking his ankle.
