The veteran suffered a gruesome right knee injury -- officially diagnosed as a knee sprain -- and didn't return to the game.

The Redskins also lost starting cornerback Bashaud Breeland to a high right ankle sprain. Coach Jay Gruden said he'll undergo an MRI on Monday.

But New York had its own secondary issues after first-round corner Eli Apple suffered a hamstring injury. He was ruled out.
