After the playing of the national anthem, players and coaches from the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons came together to join hands in a huge circle at midfield before Monday Night Football.

Following the playing of the national anthem at the Superdome, where the clubs were meeting in a Week 3 Monday Night Football clash, players and coaches from both teams joined hands in a huge circle at midfield. 

According to ESPN's broadcast, quarterbacks Drew Brees and Matt Ryan helped orchestrate it in an attempt to show support for peers that have been objecting to social injustice across the country while also trying not to detract from the playing of The Star-Spangled Banner on the 10-year anniversary of the Superdome's re-opening in 2006, a year after Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans and displaced the Saints for a year.

It has been more than a month since San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick began the movement, which he has largely used to speak out against police brutality.
