Tuesday NFL buzz: Big Ben throws; Cutler says Fox 'doesn't have a choice' at QB

Check back throughout the day for all the latest quick-hit news:
Roethlisberger at practice
Steelers quarter Ben Roethlisberger, who missed Sunday's game against New England with a torn meniscus, threw at practice on Tuesday.
So, yes, surgery last week and then back on practice field this week. You can say what you want about Big Ben, but his ability to deal with injuries is unmatched.
The Steelers have a bye this week.
Cutler on Fox: He doesn't have a choice
Bears QB Jay Cutler returns after missing five games and just in time since Brian Hoyer was lost for the season with a broken left arm.
Before Hoyer's injury, Fox refused to say if Cutler would regain the spot when he returned.
So Cutler was asked on Tuesday if he thought the coach had confidence in him.
"He doesn’t have a choice, I guess, at this point,” Cutler said, according to the Chicago Tribune. “Brian is out, so I’ve got to go. I’ve had good conversations with Foxy this week, last week, the week before. There’s never been any strain in our relationship. We’re both very open and honest, and we’re on the same page. We just want to win football games.
The Bears host the Vikings on Monday night.
Suggs back at practice
The Baltimore Ravens are getting a little sizzle back.
Linebacker Terrell Suggs returned to practice Tuesday after missing a Week 7 loss to the New York Jets with a biceps injury.
The Ravens have a bye this week but play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9.
Jaguars lose starting defender
Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Roy Miller has a torn Achilles and will miss the remainder of the season, the team announced Tuesday.
Miller had 10 tackles so far this season.
