The NFL slate is a bit light in Week 8 with six clubs on bye.

In early state-side action Sunday, the New England Patriots host the surging Los Angeles Chargers, the Atlanta Falcons will try to avoid a season sweep by the AFC East when they visit the New York Jets, and the Philadelphia Eagles will attempt to become the first team to seven wins this year.
The matchup of the day could be the Houston Texans, fresh off their bye, tackling the Seahawks in Seattle.
