New Orleans Saints defensive end Mitchell Loewen was in the right place at the right time Sunday - eating brunch with his family.
Loewen was among a group of people near an intersection where a car crashed to the ground from the fourth floor of a parking garage in New Orleans.
The Times-Picayune reported that Loewen helped flip the car upright and get an injured male passenger out of the vehicle.
"He didn't say much, he was just thanking us all. I hugged him and told him he was going to be ok, and then I prayed with him," Loewen told the Times-Picayune. "I couldn't tell how bad his injuries were, but there was a lot of blood and broken glass."
