Former Giants safety Kamrin Moore cleared of domestic violence charge
No charges will be filed against former New York Giants safety Kamrin Moore following a domestic violence charge in July, according to his representation.
A Union County (New Jersey) grand jury cleared Moore of the charge on Tuesday, as he now looks to be reinstated by the NFL, MBK Sports Management Group in a statement.
Moore was arrested in Linden in Union County in mid-July for an alleged third-degree aggravated assault, according to MBK. Moore was subsequently suspended by the Giants pending the investigation and was later waived by the team in August, per the NFL transaction wire.
"We continuously asserted Kamrin's innocence from the outset of this ordeal and believed it was only a matter of time before he would be vindicated of these fabricated charges through the course of due process," said MBK Sports President Eugene Lee.
A three-year starting cornerback at Boston College, Moore was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
