While Selection Sunday was canceled and no live events took place for the major leagues currently in season, the NFL was busy ratifying a new collective bargain agreement that runs for the next decade.

The rest of the sports world might be either canceled or postponed, but it's full speed ahead for the "News Football League."  Not long after the new CBA was approved, teams got busy making moves.

As the NFL sticks to its offseason schedule, the next few days could be hectic as free agency kicks in. NFL free-agent negotiation period opens Monday at noon ET. This is also the deadline for teams to apply the franchise tag to players (when attention will revolve around Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys). The new league year is slated to start Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET. That is when deals — such as Tannehill's new contract with the Titans — can become official.
